Face Progression
How far the leading edge sits ahead of the hosel changes what your eye reads at address and where the low point wants to fall. Two irons with identical loft can behave nothing alike because of it.

What Sits On the Bench
Nothing exotic, nothing rented for the afternoon. This is the equipment that gets used on an ordinary Thursday.
Launch monitor
Radar unit indoors with a doppler-assisted strike camera, so face location is recorded on every shot rather than estimated afterwards from the ball flight.
Measurement
Loft and lie machine
Bench-mounted gauge with a forged-head clamp. Cast heads get checked but not bent past their limit — we will tell you when a set has no adjustment left in it.
Build
Frequency analyser
Used to profile raw shafts before they are cut and again after tipping, so a set steps evenly instead of jumping stiffness between two neighbouring irons.
Measurement
Digital scale and swing weight balance
Grams to one decimal, swing weight to half a point. Tip weights and hot-melt are added inside the head, not taped under the grip where they migrate.
Build
Turf board and pressure mat
A replaceable strike surface that records low point and entry angle. It is the least glamorous instrument in the shop and it changes more wedge fittings than anything else.
Measurement
Shaft puller and epoxy station
Heat-controlled extraction so a graphite shaft comes out intact and can be re-used, plus a curing rack that holds a finished club square for the full set time.

Pick the Session That Matches the Problem
Most people book one club category, fix that, and come back later for the next. That is cheaper than a full bag session and it works better, because you get to play the change before deciding on the rest.
Driver
Head, loft sleeve, shaft, length and weight worked as a single unit. We chase retained ball speed across the face before we chase peak numbers.
Irons
Head shape, progression, sole geometry, shaft profile, length and lie. Blended sets welcome — the seam is where the money is.
Wedges
Gapping first, then grind against Southwest Florida turf. Bermuda over a sand base is a different animal from what most grinds were designed for.
Fairway & Hybrid
The two clubs most golfers own by accident. We work the gap between your longest iron and your driver until there is no dead yardage in it.
Putter
Length, lie, loft, head weight and shaft lean measured against your actual stroke arc on a roll board, not against a chart of your height.
Whole Bag
Booked as a half day, usually split across two visits. Ends with a written bag map showing every gap, every overlap and what we would change first.

Built for Golf on the Gulf Coast
Sarasota golf is played on Bermuda grown over sand, in air that is thick for eight months of the year, on courses where the wind switches direction with the season. That changes what a good fitting answer looks like.
A wedge grind that works beautifully on cool-season rye over clay will dig here in July and skid here in February. An iron shaft profiled in dry seventy-degree air will not launch the same way once the humidity sits above eighty percent and the ball comes off the face two miles per hour slower. None of that is dramatic on its own, but stacked together it is the difference between a set that fits and a set that fits somewhere else.
So we ask where you play before we ask what you play. Members at the older courses inside the city carry different problems than golfers on the newer Lakewood Ranch layouts with their wider fairways and softer landing areas. Winter residents arriving in November want a set that survives the trip home to a northern spring. Those are separate conversations, and they lead to separate specs.
